How many paid sick days do you give your nanny? Also, how many paid holidays? For vacation days, do you give them all at once or have them accrued over the first year? If you have them accrued, how do you work it?

We have a part time (2 days a week) nanny and are planning on giving her 2 weeks paid vacation a year. I am taking off the week between Christmas and New Years. However, she had already scheduled 2 weeks in August and just started on Fri 6/25. She is absolutely wonderful so far and mentioned this in her phone interview so it’s not like she sprung it on me. If you were in my shoes, how much of that would be paid vacation and how much would be unpaid? And then what would you do about the rest of the paid vacation if some was unpaid?
