TTC #2 after 21 years

I just turned 40 and I really want to have another child. My first born is now 21. I am divorced and will be using a donor. My cycles are only irregular if I gain a certain amount of weight. Other than that, my cycles are pretty normal. I also didn’t get my period until I was 15 so I’m hoping that has helped my egg count some. I’ve recently started using OPKs to track my LH surge and it appears to be showing a peak but my question is has anyone had any success with donor sperm? It can be super expensive so I would like any input you have.
