I am stressed to say the least. I am a mum to a nine month old, who is an absolutely incredible girl and I’m so lucky she’s so easy! I also work 30 hours a week, and study full time at University doing my Bachelor of teaching for early childhood (doing all my courses online so I can still work and mum life)

Year 2 of my study starts July 12th, and I’ve just found out today I’ve failed one of my assignments (I do 3 courses pre semester and each one has 2 assignments to it) and that assignment was worth 70% of my mark, therefore I have failed an entire course, even though I passed one assignment it cancels out my passed one) and I now have to re do this year 1 course next semester.

I work in Early childhood as well as studying it, and it’s in my contract that I will be a qualified teacher by a certain date, and failing this course means I will not be qualified by that date. I am SO anxious, nervous and stressed out to say the least, to tell my boss. I also feel embarrassed as there’s another lady who I work with whose also up to the exact same part as me and she’s passed! I feel like an idiot and I’m so gutted I have to re do this 😩

Has anyone else ever failed an assignment for University before? I’m so disappointed.
