How much did your baby eat at 2 weeks old?

I am currently exclusively pumping and it seems like my little one is hungry no matter how much he’s fed. I’m curious about how much your babies were eating around 2 weeks old at each feeding?

At two weeks I felt like I was feeding every hour / hour & half. And it increases when they’re having growth spurts!

Make sure you’re pace feeding. Chart is from my IBCLC and the amounts are correct. A breastmilk fed babe shouldn’t need more than 4oz a feeding.

I’m pumping exclusively for my 2 week old. He’s been eating 20-28 ounces a day. The doctor said cut his body weight in half and feed him those ounces every 2-3 hours. For example if they’re 7 pounds that would be 3.5 ounces every 2-3 hours. Sometimes he wants less, sometimes he wants more. 
With nursing I feel baby will know when he’s full. It’s just harder to tell the ounces they’re getting that way. Best of luck to you momma! 💝
