Why are some women so rude

I remember when I turned 18 and just graduated high school and was working as a cashier at a thrift store. So one day I’m ringing up this woman with her boyfriend and she says to him “I could never work here.” like wow am I that threatening to you that you have to belittle me and my job? And she was only in her 20s making that Karen ass comment. And then older women have always been rude for no reason. Only men have been nice to me😂 but thank god those days are over. I love my new job

Edit: whatever maybe threatening is a “bad term” but still the fact that she belittled me and my first job to her bf says more about her than me.
