Bedtime battle
Every night my 3 year old says "I don't want to go to bed, I'm just not tired" she hardly naps anymore and if she does it isn't long (30-60 minutes). We give her melatonin because she legit cannot fall asleep without a boost. I don't want to fight her every night. Every night I'm begging her to go to sleep. We have had the same routine since she was born. Dinner, bath/play, get dressed for bed, cuddles, book, sleep time. The past six months or so have been rough. It is a constant fight to go to sleep. We're getting her a new bed and out of the toddler bed so hopeful comfort isn't an issue anymore (we often get that she isn't comfortable or that her bed isn't comfy. She's in a toddler bed with a crib mattress.) Any other thoughts? I'm hoping the new bed solves it but I'm just not convinced.
