Can babies have Cheerios?

I know they can’t have honey nut. MIL brought a box of the Cheerios cereal. I feel like it’s a choking hazard!!

When they are at least 6 months old it’s fine!
I personally waited until my girl had a tooth or two before giving them to her!

Cheerios are great and always one of the first foods I always gave my kids. Also my pediatrician said Honey Nut Cheerios were fine to give. She said the honey rule  is more so for real raw uncooked honey.

Cheerios made me nervous too, I think my daughter was 8m or so before I tried them. I've always given her the honey ones.

6+ months and older yes. If it makes you feel worried try pouring a little milk (formula or breast milk whatever you’re using) on them to soften them. Just enough to soften them.
