Hi guys,

So my second daughter was born in October 2020. She is currently almost 9 months old. My husband and I wanted to start trying to another one once the baby had her first birthday. Around 6 months PP I stopped breastfeeding and my period returned. This morning I woke up and just felt a tiny bit off and also my period was 12 days late. I didn’t think much of it since it’s been irregular and I’ve only had several periods since she was born. But I took a test 5 minutes ago and I’m pregnant again 😭 I know we were planning to try again soon anyways but I finally feel like I got my body back and I feel good and i was looking forward to a non-pregnant summer of swimming and coffee binges and cute clothes and now I’m pregnant. This will be my third child. Anyone else get pregnant within a year of giving birth? I need advice! I’m going home to tell my husband in a few hours. I’m nervous and a bit upset that it happened so soon and I don’t feel quite ready. I’m also excited and happy but the news is a little shattering at this very moment. Help!!!
