It also checks to see how "well" you ovulated. Like when I was on letrozole I only ended up ovulating once. And it was like 11 progesterone. When I switched to clomid it was 66. So it just double checked. Makes sure you don't need to dose up  🙂

A OPK can pick up the LH surge but the test I think confirms that you ovulated
