Weight gain after stop breastfeeding ?

Okay so I’ve ALWAYS been really thin, and I got pregnant and gained weight and I LOVED the weight I was at then lost the weight after having my baby and breastfeeding, I’m such a picky eater too and I have a fast metabolism.. will I gain weight I stop breastfeeding completely?

I gained 10lbs in 1mo when I stopped nursing. I was really happy with my nursing weight so gaining has made me pretty upset and now I’m trying to lose the 10lbs.

I started to cut back when I gradually lessened the breastfeeding. I had a caesarean as well. I found I was more hungry when breastfeeding frequently. Also, sleep plays a role. When you get more sleep if you are dropping feeds and substituting with formula, if that is what you want, you’ll find it easier. I put on lots of weight in my third trimester and initially when breastfeeding I was eating a lot. Then I gradually restricted bad food and started eating healthily and I lost weight. I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months.

Its pretty common. Just watch your diet—cant eat like you did while breastfeeding
