Waters?

Can someone enlighten me as to how they get 24hrs before waters broke ? 
Baby’s head is giving me so much pressure through my vagina it’s like electric shocks and bloody hurts you can’t help but jump or yell. I feel like if he had to head butt me harder he would fall out 😬😳
Constant intense braxton hicks but cervix still closed !!! Increase in discharge too .

With my first I had absolutely zero sign of labor and my water broke at 41 weeks. Like a huge gush and even then I didn’t have contractions or anything and eventually needed pitocin and epidural to speed things up so I never felt them. Second baby I had false labor for weeks. Consistent Braxton Hicks, body aches, diarrhea, the whole nine and my water broke at 39 weeks when I stood up one morning. Just a small leak but I knew it was my water and then about 30 min later the ‘real’ contractions started. I’m really hoping it breaks this time too so I know I’m for sure in labor because false labor gets me every time 😂

With my first my water broke with absolutely zero signs or indications beforehand.

No signs what so ever
Broke at 10pm then my contractions started about 1am

Well both times I was in intense active labor when my water broke. For most women, labor starts before the water breaks, and it’s a combination of the baby’s pressure and the strong contractions that break it. But there’s really not a reliable indicator of when it will break.
