I know this group is generally for couples that are long distance, but I'm going to post about my best friend.

We met online in February of 2015, but we didn't become close with each other until probably 2017 or 2018. We've never met in person, but somehow she is the truest friend I have ever had. Before I moved last September, we live 1,057 miles apart and now we only live 285 miles apart! It's super exciting even though we likely won't even be able to meet in person for another year.

Today she proved she is truly my best friend and that she cares. I've known this all along of course, but it's nice to reassured. I'm always one to just ramble on even when it could've just been a simple one sentence reply or a video two minute video. I've always sent long texts and long video replies of me just rambling. Today though I'm going through some stuff mentally and she didn't ask at first, but when she asked me if I'm okay because I've been really short with my replies, I just started crying. She's the best friend I've ever had.

Long distance is tough whether you're a couple or just friends, but it's so worth it they're the person for you
