I need to vent and hear that the world is still full of considerate people.

Hi March mamas, I didn’t know who else to turn to. I knew tonight would be rough with firecrackers and fireworks noise but I had no idea how bad. Firecrackers are legal where I live but fireworks are not. Right after we got our 3 mo old through witching hour and to bed our neighbors lit off a resort sized fireworks display that shook the house and sent our baby into a full blown crying meltdown worse than anything we’ve ever seen. We called the police and they are so busy tonight that they wouldn’t come unless something was on fire or someone needed an ambulance. Why are people such inconsiderate selfish douche bags? I either need someone to commiserate with or someone to assure me that not everyone’s an A-hole.
