2 months old, feeding every 3 hours normal?

Hey everyone!
My baby girl is 2 months old now and still feeds every 3 hours but only wants to breastfeed for 15 minutes every session. Does anyone else have this problem? Perhaps 15 minutes is long enough but I read online the average baby should feed for a minimum 20-30 minutes to make sure they get adequate amount of milk 🤷‍♀️

15 minutes can definitely be long enough, even shorter as baby gets more efficient. Ever 3 hours is totally normal, is this at night too? You might be able to get baby to sleep 5-8 hours consecutively at night at this age.

I wish we were doing every 3 - barely making it to 2 hours each feed during the day 🤪 but can do 8+ hour stretches at night🤷🏼‍♀️

My LO feeds every 2 hours. The longest stretch she goes is at night 6-7 hours

Not breast feeding but my guy still eats every 3 hours and he’s almost 10 weeks.. sometimes he doesn’t even make it 3 hours. He’s taking 4 oz, sometimes he will take an extra 1 or 2. He will go about 5-6 hours at night, even went 7 once but during the days it’s definitely 3 hours usually on the dot

My boy is around every 3 hours sometimes 2.5 sometimes 3.5 depends when he wakes from his naps.
He feeds 5-10 minutes and is done. He is just a fast drinking. He has a wet nappy every time I change his nappy and poos twice a day. 
At night he is only feeding once throughout. So I know he ja getting enough during the day or he would wake more at night.

Both of my kids nurse(d) 5-10 minutes max per session and eat every 2-3 hours. It depends on your body and your letdown/flow. I overproduce, so they get a lot quickly. My son is a chunky one too. Just over 17lbs at his 2 month appt

My LO goes every 3-4 hours. I am exclusively pumping so she takes in about 4.5-5 ounces at each feeding. She’s 11 weeks old. There is not a lot of information on how much breast milk babies have so I hope this helps anyone else exclusively pumping!!

3 hours seems pretty normal! You could always experiment with some different times and see if you get a different outcome
