I didn’t kiss my baby on the lips until I could ask him for a kiss and he’d kiss me on the mouth. Before that, I missed his head or nose or cheek.

It's not something I thought I would do, but it's something that happened. If I ask my son for a kiss, he usually kisses me on the lips. I only ever kissed him in the cheeks and head as a baby, but he sees my husband and I kiss and that's how he started doing it. His sister had learned it the same and they kiss each other on the lips for bed, though he'll kiss her belly or arms at other times of day.

I mean it lived inside of me and exited my vagina. I couldn’t imagine not giving them kisses after that. It can also help baby’s build antibodies and immunities when they are introduced to ours.

I grew up in a family that does not kiss on the lips. My daughter is 21 months and only wants to kiss us on the lips. We say she brings it in for the real thing.😂 My husband and I felt it was strange for us at first, but now we are okay with it as long as she initiates it. When she wants to stop kissing on the lips, we will, but for now it’s how she shows affection so we don’t want to deny her that.

Not when he was young but now he sees dada and I kissing and goes in for a mouth kiss every so often, I try to switch to cheek or forehead but he's gotten a few in 😆. It's no big ddeal for me but not something I want him getting used to with other people

Yes, I kiss both my boys on their lips because they are MY children who grew in my womb, I carried for almost 10 months, I suffered to give birth to them. So kissing my boys on them lips is my way of loving them & showing them affection. Until my boys decide they no longer want to kiss on the lips, I will always do so. I don’t care what anyone says to me.
