Overbearing mom

Ok so I want to hear some opinions.

My mom has a history of being overbearing. Whenever she talks to my 4mo old son, she refers to her house as “home” and asks is he coming home, or when he is going to come back home (meaning to visit her). My son has always lived with me and my husband and always will, and I know he’s too young to understand right now, but as he gets older, I don’t want little things like that to confuse him. Do you think I am overreacting or is my mom doing too much? I have told her about this before.
