Tantrums

The tantrums have gotten so bad this week and I’m desperate because we may be travelling home this summer via airplane. Anyone have tips to help? Often brought on when we come inside and he wants to stay outside, or when he wants to do something that isn’t safe. He will scream and cry for up to an hour sometimes.

- I usually offer two choices of something to do instead

- I try to distract or deter from the situation

- When that doesn’t work I sit with him and wait until he’s calm, which doesn’t seem to help him
