My newborn has this all over his face, neck and chest. Is this just baby acne or a rash?? Any ideas on how to help treat it??

Could be a skin rash called “prickly heat.” I’m not sure what the medical term is, that’s just what my family calls it. If it is, it’s nothing to worry about and it’ll go away on its own. Newborns have sensitive skin and it reacts to everything, even just being too warm. Send pictures to your pediatrician if you’re concerned, but personally I wouldn’t be.

Ask a doctor. There is some "rash" which is absolutely normal after birth- it's about hormones getting to normal after birth. My both children had it for several days/weeks (my daughter was "almost preemie"- she had it for two or three weeks)
However for us it was only on face/face area- not the whole body... 
Anpther thought- it could be from heat.
If you have a phone number in your country with medical care for children- call them and ask for advice (they know more than most people here - including me 😉)

It looks more like a rash. Did it just appear? Are you breastfeeding? It could be something In Your diet if you are. I would contact dr for advice.

Both my sons had this when they were born and it cleared up on its own.  Their pediatricians were never concerned by it - but definitely can ask yours about it for reassurance 😊

My son had this and it looked really sore but it didn’t hurt him at all; started clearing up by 4 weeks 
Just don’t put any creams on it, wash with warm water and breast milk if you can
