Checking in

Hello All,

Been a couple months since I contributed anything that could be considered personal. Don’t really know what the sudden burst is, maybe I’m just excited as I have the potential to advance at work as well.

Anyway I’ve decided to make a detailed effort to not try anything for any time this month and perhaps next month while deliberately observing what I am doing currently as well as what I need to do for myself and potentially any child left in or otherwise birthed into my charge.

For me the biggest things to check off on my list are to build a basic team of providers that can and will establish a partnership in my care. I’m not interested in having a one sided dictatorship, I don’t have the slightest desire to stage a sit in at the doctors office (again) but I want my providers to know that I will not rest in seeking the right answers until I am getting healthier. I want my team to know I am well versed and want to figure stuff out in time together, I have mostly a team that is like that; although the pharmacy staff where I work is dumber than a box of rocks insisting that they provide a service that I know they are not supposed to especially if I request that they not do it. Since work will be transferring me I won’t have to see that pharmacy team much longer.

Finding a home that is within my budget and doesn’t make me want to employ the county sheriffs and their vehicles flood lights to see if I can get my neighbor that has 8 or 9 young children living in her unit, to look like a deer caught in someone’s headlights. I pay close to $1600 a month, every night it’s the same thing a small baseball team scattering to catch whatever hit might linger. Don’t get me wrong kids need to play but Damn lady take the blocks off their feet.

Next is building an appropriate Homefront. I’m not talking furnishings or food I’m talking home life: boundaries, schedules etc.

From there, we’ll take a better look when I need to if I need to.
