I've been in this group for a while now and rarely post anymore, but more of a quiet follower. I had mostly thought my chances were gone. I've never gotten a positive test while trying (several years) and today that changed. I got 3 positives.

We didn't do anything special. Had mostly stopped all the extra supplements, but do still take my multivitamin. And we only did the baby dance one time during my fertile window. I'm still in shock honestly. And no idea if this little one will stick, but I'm praying it does. I prayed hard for this and I'm willing to accept whatever God decides. I only wanted to share, to give those still trying a glimmer of hope - sometimes that's all you need.

Also, I take thyroid medication daily for hashimotos, I am a diagnosed celiac, and overweight at 5'10" and 230lbs, (those lbs mostly in my hips/thighs). I've tried off and on to lose weight, but I'm very slow in that department and happy when I'm not gaining. Having a nonworking thyroid makes it extra hard for sure. I'm only giving all these details to help someone else that might be where I was or where I am.

I have one child from my first marriage that's 16 yrs old and my husband (that's 8 years younger than me) does not have any children. So I'm very hopeful this little one sticks and if you could send some extra prayers up for us, I'd be most great full. Thank you all for sharing your stories and experiences, I've read them and learned and prayed for you all as well.

Edited to add: now that a day has passed and I've thought more about this...(nonstop really) I'm completely terrified. 😖 Please pray that God gives me a peace about this and that everything goes well, and we're able to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. I'm currently in the "what in the world was I thinking!?" mode... and its a tad stressful and scary to say the least. ☹
