Ectopic

Period starts. Four days later, I stop bleeding but still have that slightly brown tinged discharge. After two days, it stops. Day 3 post-period, fun times with hubby. Day 4, maybe we were too rough? Slight bleeding has returned. Fast forward until now (nearly 3 weeks later)…still spotting and bleeding, off and on. HGC levels keep slowly rising but not doubling. HGC 27, HGC 32, ultrasound. It’s determined that I have a hemorrhagic ovarian cysts and that’s why I’m bleeding. HGC tested again. HGC at 38…pregnancy abnormal…D&C performed... 2 days later, HGC is at 28. A week later (today) bloodwork is done to see where my HGC is. Dr confirmed it’s ectopic but it’s too early to see on an ultrasound.

Sorry for the “nutshell” version, but I wanted to keep it short and simple. Has anyone dealt with a “stubborn ectopic?” I 100% trust my dr (we’re close friends outside of work) but I must admit I’m a bit panicked. This time last year, we announced our pregnancy then lost it at 4 months. This year, ectopic. Is there something in the water?! Sheesh…
