I Don't think my fiance likes me when he's sober

My fiance had to stop smoking (weed) after smoking a really long time. He is trying to get a new job and has to take a drug test. Since he has stopped hes angry and acts like he wants nothing to do with me doesn't kiss me or touch me just seemingly gets annoyed with me. Is it just the weed withdrawal or is he realizing he doesn't like me if he's not high. He also got to the point he is now drinking because he can't stand being sober. I'm at a loss and not sure what to do. Any advice.
