Where does your baby sleep?

For those who have the baby in a separate room, how old did you transition and why?

Still sleeping in a pack-n-play in the room with my husband and I at 5 months old. She has a cute nursery with furniture and a crib (that converts to a toddler bed), but I feel much safer knowing she is in the room with me.
She's my first.
Still obsessively worry about her.

We may try to transition her to her nursery at 6 months. Maybe not.
She sleeps through the night (has since 5 weeks), so she's not really a bother in here with us! It helps me sleep better to know she's only a few feet away!

I had mine sleeping in the bassinet in my room until he went through his four month sleep regression then I did the Ferber method in his crib in the nursery. I was sooo scared putting him in his room all alone but it helped that I have the Nanit baby monitor in there. I am happy I did it though because everyone, including the baby, sleeps better now!

We transitioned at five months exactly because we were ready for our room back and LO was sleeping through the night. However, her room is next to ours and we have the monitor going all night on the nightstand. LO is still in her bassinet in her room though. We are going to try crib transition this weekend because she keeps rolling around and rotating 180 in the bassinet, and she gets stuck since she is longer than the bassinet is wide.

Livingroom for now she wakes up every 45 mintues in our room but livingroom she sleeps all night ! When she turns 1 she will be sharing a room with her big sister

We transferred our twins at just over 3 months. They were in bassinets that connected to a pack and play, once they were to tall for the bassinets, they shared the pack and play, however they weren't sleeping well together bc if one was moving the other would wake up. About a week after they moved into their own cribs they've been sleeping through the night. I think the transition was tougher for me than it was for them.

Moved to crib in the nursery at 4 months. We have the owlet and video monitor. Transition was easy as I started putting him down for naps in his crib at about 2 weeks old.

Our daughter has her own crib but it’s n our room. We’ll probably transition her when she’s around one. We did this with our other five kids.

He moved into his crib in nursery two weeks ago. His 20 month old brother is in the same nursery still in crib too. We use split screen monitor to watch them both.
