Is it really worth it? I’ve heard such mixed reviews about some babies loving it and others not being into it. If you have bought or rented it, can you share your experience?

There’s a reason it sells so well even though it costs so much. I recommend getting the leg risers to incline it. Flat + motion doesn’t work well for our baby when he has recently eaten, but it’s not much problem with the incline. 
If you can’t afford it, consider co-sleeping with something like the Snuggle Me. We got similar stretches between feeding with the Snoo and Snuggle Me with our current baby between birth and 3 weeks, but the Snoo is less work, you don’t have to give up bed space, and is better for naps.

Yes. It’s 100% worth it. And a LOT of the people who are against it are not actual Snoo users OR they didn’t use it as recommended from birth. I have used it for both of my daughters, and loaned it to three friends so far. I also have had 4 friends buy their own. One of my friends felt mediocre about it but when I asked she said she was worried about the motion so she never turned it on. Everyone else I know is obsessed. The settings are fully customizable so babies that like more or less motion at baseline are no problem. Switching to a crib has also been no problem for my kids using the wean feature. The price tag sucks, I agree. But for me and my husband, the benefits were worth it.

I have the snoo and for my baby personally it works amazing! I didn’t have it at first when we brought her home. I had the mamaroo bassinet that sways. She was ok in it except she would end up being pressed up against the mesh sometimes and it wasn’t great at calming her back to sleep either. The snoo does! It will put her to sleep and will soothe her back to sleep. The sleep sack prevents her from moving around or rolling on her tummy which I love! We were getting maybe 1.5-2 hour stretches in the other bassinet and in the snoo we’ll get like 5-6. I definitely think it’s worth it and will be using for baby #3.
