Getting tubes tied during c section?

This is my second baby, and after a very rough and risky pregnancy, I am not having any more children.
Is anyone considering having their tubes tied? My husband suggested it, and I burst into tears as it felt so permanent and something I could never change, but it also makes a lot of sense. Anyone have thoughts?

A vasectomy is so much easier for a man to do. They literally have to deal with zero pain.

I looked into it but stopped when I found out all of the side effects. I’d rather have my hubby get snipped. No side effects for him 🤷🏼‍♀️

I talked to my doctor about it because I  am sure this is my last. My husband agrees. If I happen to need a cesarean then I will get it done. If not, my husband is getting a vasectomy. My doctor did say they consider it a permanent surgery, even though it technically can be reversed. Vasectomy's can be reversed a lot easier and with a lot less possible complications.

I’m expecting my fourth and even though we both agree we are done. I’m not ready for the permanent surgery either, makes me sad thinking about it. I haven’t been on birth control for the last 10 years so I’m not sure how my body is going to respond but I’m considering an iud. And in 5 years when it’s time to replace it I will hopefully be ready to make the permanent change.

You can have them take out a part of your tubes- if you decide you want to have kids later, they can reverse it. 
I elected to have a csection, so I had the procedure. If I didn’t have the csection, my husband was going to have the vasectomy. It’s either that, or have to continue using birth control. If you’re ok with using birth control, then just do that if you and your husband arn’t sure what to do.

I feel the same way. Want this to be last baby and would rather not commit to birth control until menopause, but Lord forbid if anything ever happened, I just struggle with it not being reversible. My husband is open to a vasectomy, but doesn’t solve my problem of birth controls with weight gain and blah blah. I also feel like since I’m having C-section, it’ll be so convenient to do it while they’re in there LOL

It can be reversed. Sometimes it can't but most the time it can be.
