Hormones giving me nightmares

and in turn the nightmares are starting to make me really depressed.

It can take a whole day to shake off the funk I can get into from a bad nightmare. Only to go to sleep and start all over again 😩

I try to watch/read only positive things to get my subconscious “happier” but every single night is nightmares about my kids or parents dying, my partner cheating, becoming homeless, and even suicide.

I wasn’t depressed before these dreams started but I’m definitely getting depressed now.

Any other tips to try to encourage happier dreams? Outside of pregnancy, I can lucid dream so I have control of what’s going on and am aware that I’m dreaming, but I do not lucid dream during pregnancy, so everything feels very very real to me.
