Should I swear deodorant when breastfeeding newborn?

I feel like this is a dumb question. Thanks in advance, first time mom💕

ACTUALLY we discussed this in the breastfeeding portion of my birth classes last pregnancy. 
There have actually not been studies showing the transfer of heavy metals from deodorant to breastmilk done.
Because of this, my midwives heavily recommended switching to a “natural” deodorant (a lot of the mamas said they like native brand).
However, the natural deodorants are VERY strongly scented because they don’t prevent perspiration but cover it up.  So some nurslings have an issue with this.
Sooooo… what I did was skip deodorant and wipe my pits several times a day unless I was going somewhere, then used an unscented traditional deodorant.

That depends.
Wear one and see if your baby has a problem with it. If not, then there is no problem. But some babies don't like the smells, so they fuss etc.
I personally still wear mine. But for example my mom told, she could not with any of kids. 😂
