“No” seems to mean nothing

Elizabeth

I’m about to lose my s***. Every time my toddler wants to treat the sofa as a trampoline and I tell him “No”, no matter how sharp I am, it’s a game to him. He thinks it’s funny. It’s driving me even more nuts bc he reacts differently when his sitter says no (aka seems to realize he’s done something wrong). So I don’t think it’s that he doesn’t understand the word no. But for some reason with the jumping on the sofa and also touching or hitting the tv, he thinks it’s a hilarious game. Both of these things are dangerous. Tv is tethered and all, but still.

Doesn’t help that I’m pregnant, nauseous, energy depleted. My fuse is definitely shorter.

I’m super frustrated. Anyone conquer this problem? I need advice.
