racial profiling at Walmart

i’m livid guys just thinking about what happened to me yesterday and need to rant lol! i literally had one of the WORST experiences in walmart. i was in self check out with my 4 month old and my mom. we were scanning things, bagging them, and putting them in the cart. something that EVERYONE DOES. a Walmart employee came up to us all aggressive and told me that i can’t be scanning things and putting them in the cart bc she’s not seeing what’s scanned and what’s not, meanwhile it’s on the SCREEN! she was basically accusing of us of trying to steal and we felt like CRIMINALS. she decided to get close and proceeded to angrily grab OUR STUFF from the cart to place them in the bagging area.. for what idk. from there we started arguing and i went off on her and told her that i didn’t see her doing that same shit to others 🤷🏽‍♀️ i’m a Hispanic woman so this felt like racial profiling to me. she told me that i needed to respect my elders to which i replied, “i don’t need to respect you b*tch, you’re the one that needs to respect me. you disrespected me and are accusing me of stealing when im going to pay for it all. you’re disgusting” and my mom told her she needs to respect customers and that she’s rude period. after that whole incident she went to help a white woman and didn’t tell her or anyone else anything and they were placing their stuff in their carts after scanning them, so why me? and then another employee the one that checks “receipts” came by us and was watching us making sure we were scanning everything for sure and paying for it instead of standing by the door and watching others. they singled me out. as soon as we were done she ran pretty much to the doors so we wouldn’t leave without her checking meanwhile others weren’t checked. i told her off and then went to the manager to report everything that happened, to which he said “oh repeat again what she did. they were checking bc they need to make sure everyone is scanning but i will talk to her supervisor. sorry you were treated this way” thats your response to this type of behavior? it’s disgusting that Walmart allows these type of nasty behaved people to work for them. disappointing. i honestly wish i would’ve done more. swear my blood pressure went up from all this 🥴 i contacted walmart on instagram and facebook, they said they will look into it. they need to be held accountable for what they did so I hope this is actually taken serious.
