TTC baby number 2

Hi there, me and my partner are currently ttc, we already have a 2.5 year old boy who wasn’t planned but very much a blessing 💛

We’ve decided to now try for baby #2 and was wondering if we had sex 4/5 days before ovulation is there a chance to conceive? My partner is now away for work and won’t be back for a couple weeks so I won’t be in my fertile period anymore.

Currently on cycle day 8 or 9 my cycles are usually 26 days long and we had sex this morning.

What are the chances I could fall pregnant? Anyone been through the same thing or similar situation?
