I’ve asked a similar question on here and got two responses saying, yes they got more than 1% chance and baby ended up fine- AND saying they refuse these tests in future pregnancies because of the unnecessary worry. With MY first pregnancy I got 1:568, and with my second I got 1:110 which is closer to 1%… I was a little freaked for a week but let myself forget about it. The neck measurement was 1.4 and normal range is 1.1-1.3… it’s a tiny little babe and I’m gonna cut him some slack. I also think purely your age ups the risk which is silly. I’m doing my follow up blood work at my 16 week appt. tmw and I’m not too worried anymore. Even with my first pregnancy when I got 1:568 the OB made me feel like it was borderline and said something like “we’d like it lower and we’ll check the blood work at 16 weeks.” I hope you’re able to relax and enjoy your pregnancy knowing you’ll do your best no matter what.
12 week routine blood work positive
Hi there!
Last week I completed the routine 12 week blood work. My doctor called and said my test came back at more then 1% and typically they like it less then that. He then orded me NIPT test (panorama maternity test) to look into it more. He told me not to worry but of course I am! Anyone else gone through this?
