Did these people genuinely need help or did they have other intentions?
So my female friend and I were walking to the store at almost 1am and while we were walking, a car drove up to us. It was a man driving and a woman in the passenger seat. She asked if we could go to Walmart with them and buy them some stuff for their kids and that their kids were in the back seat (we didn’t hear or see them since it was dark and their windows were tinted). She said she knows we probably don’t trust her, but they needed some groceries. We said no because they were strangers and uh, we kinda try to avoid getting kidnapped, which means saying no to everyone. But I’m wondering if it was sketchy or if it sounds like they genuinely needed help? I do feel a little bad sometimes because I know some people are genuinely in need of a bit of kindness but I don’t trust anyone I don’t know.
