What name sounds better?

So for me I like to name my childrens middle names to mean something. For example my second sons middle name is Monk. Which some people laugh at but he's named after a family who went to my ex husband's church. Basically back in the mid 60s a young white couple (with the last name Monk) couldn't have children of their own and we're going though the adoption process. One day they get "courtesy" call that a baby was born, but the agency insisted they wouldn't want this baby because he was black and sick (sickle cell disease) and would likely die very young. They adopted this baby and named him John and luckily dialysis had just been invented. So John lived well past what the doctors expected. John was such a beautiful soul and despite the pain he had endured though out his life he was still bright and happy. He passed weeks before I had my son so we wanted to honor the family and thus my son was named Miles Monk. While this story isn't exactly relevant, I still wanted to share John Monk's story.

Now I'm pregnant with my 3rd son and his father and I have been discussing names. And pretty early on we decided on the first name Vincent. In the beginning we agreed on Jett. Jet was the last name of a man my boyfriend fought with in the army. They were in combat together quite a few times and had saved each others lives more than once. So I was totally ok with that as a middle name. Well with weeks to go my boyfriend started having second thoughts on the middle name. So I suggested my step father's middle name Craig.

Now Craig has been a very important part of my life, and has actually been in my life since I was in kindergarten. He's really the only father I've had in my life as my biological father was never in the picture. He raised me. And when I was about 13 my mom left to go do drugs. I chose to stay with Craig and finish high school. Now Craig is a bit arrogant and a self proclaimed asshole. But as I've found growing up even though he had a strict moral code (which I haven't always agreed with) his heart has always been in the right place. Me being a perfect example. He never HAD to take me in. I'm not biologically his. He could have told me to be with my mom and quite honestly my life would not be where it is today if that were the case.

So I'm torn. My boyfriend is having second thoughts on Jett and has said if I'd like to have Vincents middle name be Craig that's fine with him. Which sounds better?
