I need some advise! Mod podge users and epoxy users!!

Savannah • I am 21yrs old and a rape and sa survivor. I am currently a junior in college to become a wildlife biologist!

Mod podge question🔽

So I’ve recently started making acrylic pour coasters and I’m applying mod podge instead of epoxy. I followed the directions on the mp bottle to a t and it has worked great! It also says on the bottle that I need to wait 4 weeks for the mod podge to cure then I need to add a clear sealer which I have already bought. But my question is, do I really need to wait 4 weeks before moving on with the product? I’m hoping to sell them but in 4 weeks I will already be in college and I was hoping to have them sold or be able to sell them before then. Is it necessary to wait this long?

Epoxy question🔽

I looked into using epoxy resin but the price is insane! I do my art on the side and am trying not to go overboard on price. Where I’m new my name is not really out there so idk I just don’t see people paying extra (which they would have to if I used epoxy as my pricing would have to go up) for my products. Also if I did eventually decide to use epoxy do I need to wear a mask? I have seen many videos where people are not wearing them but I’ve also seen ones where they said you had to because of the fumes. I’m hoping to continue doing my coasters (if they sell well) while I’m in college, in my dorm room. But if the fumes are bad I won’t be able to use epoxy.

Here’s a picture of one set of coasters that I’ve already finished with mod podge. It’s my Earth set.
