A Christian cult that I was born and raised in. I know it's a bit unorthodox but she was really excited. She's 7. We've been calling her by her new name for about 3 months now. She loves it, writes it with cute doodles. I figure why not

My husband is adopting her and we are going to change it then. We have a lot of healing and therapy but this has been like a fresh start. Now when I say her new name (it means dream) I smile.

I just couldn't keep calling her "The Lords delight" (sorry I dont want to reveal her name because you know.. it's the internet and b!tches are crazy 😉)

Stepping away from the cult, the religion and my relationship with Jesus has been the most freeing experience for my family. I can explain in depth my reasonings as she gets older but seriously
