So, I worked for a company and haven’t since October of 2019… (i worked for him for almost two years)I recently got in contact with an old boss of mine due to needing some information and possible help from him. After getting what was needed he asked me to join him for dinner which I gladly did, we caught up and spent 3 hours just talking! During our talk we found out we both have been single for about a year now, and said let’s do it again when he came back to where I live!

Last week I let him know of a new place that was really good that I thought he would like and I let him know I would pay since he got it last time! He insists that he pays, that my being there is more than enough for him, but that he would let me buy him a drink! We talked back and fourth about who would end up paying, and it seemed a little flirty.. fast forward a couple of days and he had texted me everyday since then! There’s been a few winky faced emojis, some flirting.. well today he talked about vacations and wanting to take a trip to Mexico at a beach he always goes to. I brought up the fact that I haven’t been on vacation in forever and I should save up to go on one! His next reply was “just maybe you won’t need to save anything😉” I let him know I couldn’t possibly let him pay for me, that I would feel terrible! & his response was there’s no need for me to feel bad, just enjoy the vacation and relax as much as I possibly could! Fast forward to tonight, we talk about what we’re having for dinner and we both are having steak, he then invited me to his house (about 150-200 miles away) and said he would love to cook for me one night if I was willing to make the drive, that if I needed a place to spend the night with my son that his place was open and to not worry about leaving early the next day. For me to take my time and no rush at all! We are doing lunch/dinner in about a week, he asked me to go to his place in about 3 weeks.. and is planning a vacation for us! The attraction is there on my end. I just can’t tell if I could be reading too much into it. Also there is a pretty huge age gap for us, which I’ve dated older men anyways and he knows this.. but he’s never dated a younger woman before! Idk how to feel about it 😩
