Magic soup?
Since I know there are some other Mama's here who are struggling with picky eaters, I made some soup tonight that my son GOBBLED up, and he usually only wants pasta or taquitos! Either we're ending the picky eating phase or there's something about this easy last-minute random ass soup I threw together that even picky kids might eat (and get some veggies in them too).
4 cups chicken broth, 2 cups water
1 1/2 cups chopped zucchini
2 carrots shredded
3/4 cups rice
1 1/2 cups cooked chicken cut into small pieces (I used leftover rotisserie chicken from the grocery store)
Bring the broth and water to a boil and add the rice to cook while you chop stuff, then add the veggies and meat. You can swap veggies for whatever you have on hand, and it's not super heathy because of the salt content of the broth, but hopefully this helps with some picky eaters! 🥣
