Baby Sullivan is 1 week old today. Just so everyone is aware, I finally went into the hospital after having contractions for about 8 hours straight. They never got closer together than 10 minutes apart. I only live about 20 minutes from the hospital and once they checked me I was already 7cm dilated. Sometimes the contractions being far apart is not an indication that you aren’t dilating or that you need to stay home. If I had waited any longer I would have labored at home by myself. Trust your instincts.
