To get the vaccine or to not?

Question

I’m wanting to know weather I should get vaccinated or not. I want facts that this is safe to take and if it isn’t I want facts why it’s not. I’m 23. I’ve been hearing so much stuff and I’m not sure if I should be vaccinated or not.

Talk to your doctor. You're going to get a lot of information from both sides. I'm vaccinated. I believe in vaccines and the science behind them. I'm glad I'm vaccinated and can live a more normal life if I want (I have a two year old so we are still cautious and take precautions)

Definitely talk with your doctor. All the research shows it's safe thus far. I'm happily vaccinated. The more people that get vaccinated, the closer we are to going back to "normal". I got vaccinated for myself but also for others, those that cannot get vaccinated due to cancer, etc, kids that aren't old enough to get the vaccine yet and everyone in my community.

I agree to talk to your doctor and to look at reputable websites. Going off of what people tell you on the internet, or stories from friends of “I know a guy who…” are not facts and can be misinformation. 
If you’re looking for facts your doctor is one of the best spots to go. Or WHO, CDC, other reputable organizations.

Like another poster said, I’d suggest calling your MD to discuss as you’re going to get a lot of opinions online. You can also look at science based information online via the CDC, Mayo Clinic, or another reputable scientific based source. I’m happily vaccinated since April. The relief I feel has made a world of difference in my life knowing that if I’m exposed; I’m not going to get severely ill.

Me neither.. I’m on the fence I heard so much about the crap hole of side effects with the vaccines and. I have a friend who got one and got deathly ill after… it scares me even more 
I think imma wait for a year or two when they know more. 
I dont travel so it really isnt a problem for me to wait…

I'm EBF and holding off. But for me it was because I just don't see covid as a risk for myself based on the global case data plus my first hand experience gathered over the last 20 months. Im not saying the vaccine is bad or not useful, i just feel like it's redundant in my case of being a young, healthy individual without any of the covid-19 comorbidities.
