Cleaning the vag

Is it bad to just use non scented soap and water to clean my vag or do I need an actually cleanser?

I recently saw a video that said using soap and water to clean isn’t good Bc the ph balance isn’t there and yeast infections galore. But it was posted from an account selling vag cleansing products.

My mom told me to never use those products you see at the store but is soap and water not good??

I’m kinda very lost on how to properly clean my vag lol
