Rash and Benadryl ?

My baby has a a rash for a few days now I have children’s Benadryl but it says not to give to people u see 2 years of age. He’ll be 2 in October. I have experience with the Tylenol but not Benadryl. What do you guys think?

Call your doctor.
My doctor told me to use it on my 22 month old when she had a reaction to another medication. 
Your doctor can better evaluate if Benadryl is needed and if it’s safe.

I would do it only if your pediatrician recommends it. My eldest has on several occasions had an allergic reaction to soaps and sunscreens. His doctor had us use benadryl twice before he was two because of it.

I would see the doctor before you use it.  Benedryl won’t help unless it’s from an allergic reaction and if it’s from an allergic reaction, you need to get rid of whatever is causing it so it doesn’t continue

Are you in the UK? Basically it's not licensed for a child under 2, so I work in a chemist and I'd have to refuse the sale. However a doctor could prescribe it if they see fit. Pirton however is suitable from 1 year
