What do I need for baby after hospital?

Question

I have the nursery stuff all sorted out, but what “essential items” do I need for baby when we bring him home from the hospital?
Like: diapers, wipes, formula (if formula fed), etc.? What size diapers do I start with, do you start right away with newborn size?
I’m looking more for like “grocery items” I might be missing. Thank you all!

I’ve always been told to get only one or two newborn packs of diapers.

It’s hard to say. You kind of just take it as you go. We had people buy us a lot of diapers so luckily we didn’t have to but this pregnancy I am not buying any diapers until baby is born because we don’t know how small or big he will be. If anything only buy one box of newborns and a couple of size 1 
My first ended up being in preemie diapers for 2 weeks then newborn for a few weeks or month then size 1. It really just depends. 
Other small things you will need is really just wash clothes , swaddles , clothes , nose sucker thing , wipes . For me that was it
