Feeding baby enough?

My baby is about to be 6 weeks old. We are currently feeding her 3 ounces (formula) every 2-3 hours. For a while she was having 4-5 hour stretches at night but lately she’s been awake feeding every 2 hours on the dot. Is she maybe not getting full enough? How much and how often are your 6 week olds eating? Trying to get her to sleep longer at night, momma needs sleep!

Cluster feeding with a growth spurt. Just feed her. Don’t up the ounces, as the amount she’s getting seems pretty good. You aren’t going to make a 6wk old sleep longer. They NEED to wake during the night as that is their way of preventing SIDS. Just feed, don’t even worry about sleep.

My boy went through a growth spurt at 6 weeks and started waking to feed every 2 hours. Lasted until he was 11 weeks 🙂

She could be going through a growth spurt. My son will be 10 weeks this Thursday, for the last month he's been sleeping from about 9-10pm to 4-5am and he usually eats about 2-3oz ... But then all of the sudden he's waking every 2 hours, like clockwork and eating 5-6oz. This has been happening for about 3 days now... So I'm pretty certain it's a growth spurt. This is his second one so I'm seeing similar things from that last one. 
We usually prep formula before bed to supplement with, I breastfeed but I don't produce enough to fill him during this growth spurt. So I feed him and if he's still fussy we make a 2-3oz bottle of formula. If he finishes that we will make another ounce to see if he finishes that so we can make sure he's getting full. 
He's for sure getting full but, he is still waking every 2 hours so we are just riding it out.

If I were you I would start offering her more than three oz at each feed and see how she does. 
What my pediatrician told us is to put in a bottle a little more than baby normally eats and just go by their cues. If she’s still showing hunger cues after feeding, or wanting to eat frequently then maybe she needs a little more at each feed.
