Bday ideas without a party?

Any special thing you are planning for their 2nd birthday?

We were going to have a party but decided against it because I don’t think it’s what he would enjoy right now, but we plan to next year.

We live in Florida so initially thought the beach but we do have a newborn as well and August will still be really hot and possibly rainy. Other than an activity/event, is there a special food you plan to make? I would make bday pancakes but he never touches pancakes lol—might make them just for myself / some pictures :)
