Clomid but already ovulate?

Question

How many of you ladies were prescribed clomid even tho you already ovulate?
I have unexplained infertility and my obgyn has prescribed me clomid to hopefully induce ‘super ovulation’ to increase our chances of success.

I usually ovulate on my own, but occasionally have an anovulatory cycle. Medication can be prescribed even to those that already ovulate to help egg quality and quantity. But of course the medication is only to assist ovulation, actually getting pregnant is another story. Has your partner had testing? Do you see a RE? Have you done genetic & chromosome testing, HSG, Sono, etc?
