What are some things that could cause my baby to??

My 4mo old who is an amazing baby, super happy, very rarely fussed, wonderful sleeper….while napping will wake up from a dead sleep in a sheer panic scream!
It’s only happened a handful of times.

Mine just started doing this too. My oldest also did it. Not sure why, but for my oldest it would happen in phases.

Mine has done this too, he wakes up extending his arms like "is anyone here with me?" And then starts crying when he doesn't feel anyone. He did this all last weekend.  I let him sleep in our bed for one night to build his security back up, second night he also slept in our bed but didn't do it as much and Sunday night he was back in his bed, i just make sure to put his "baby" (lil penguin with a blankie attached) at his side so if he wakes up looking for anything he has his baby there with him. I've watched on the camera and he does actually reach for his baby and rubs it on his face n falls back to sleep. So I'm thinking maybe just a security thing. Mind you he's been sleeping in his bed alone for about a month now 🤷🏽‍♀️

My bub does this maybe every second day, it’s usually gas for her. Once she farts she’s happy as anything

I would guess gas but I know my son has had bad dreams. But he doesn’t scream, he just kinda cries out and then continues sleeping

For me I think it’s waking up and still being tired and being crazy pissed and unable to self soothe back to sleep. Maybe try rocking back to sleep?

Maybe a bad dream? My son would do that all the time and start crying in his sleep so bad I thought he was actually up.
