For those who’s baby was estimated to be big how close were they to that estimated weight? My baby boy was estimated to be 9lbs and was 8lbs even

He arrived 38+5 at 2.9kg

They told me 8 lbs if full term and 9 lbs if she went over. We were induced at 39+2 and she was 7 lbs 14 oz. so almost 8

I’ve never had a provider be willing to predict weight because ultrasound weight estimation is so inaccurate. That being said, all my babies measured “exactly on date” occasionally measuring slightly bigger at their ultrasounds. My son was 5.8 my daughter was 6.2 lbs 🤷‍♀️

Not even close. I had an ultrasound at 12 am and she was estimated at 6.5 lbs. she was born the same day at 6:32pm at 5lb8oz
