Subchorionic hematoma?

I went and had my first US today and I read the report and it says I have a subchorionic hematoma. Of course I’m googling stuff now I’m panicking. Has anyone else had this? What’d did your doctor do for you?

I had it at 8 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with a threatening miscarriage because I was bleeding. The doctor gave me some special instructions to follow (no sex, no workouts, no caffeine, etc.) until the bleeding stopped and when my OBGYN doctor cleared me. I’m now 14 weeks 5 days pregnant and so far, everything looks great!

I have one now as well. I’m 13 weeks now it was found at my 9 week ultrasound. I just had a second ultrasound done yesterday so waiting on the results from that to know any more info on it. So far I’ve had no bleeding or any abnormal symptoms but the ultrasound tech told me about 90% of women have them. Google told me 3% so don’t believe what you read! 😘

I had one with when I when in for my 8 week scan with my last pregnancy and I was already high risk and I was put on pelvic rest and just told me to take it easy and I now have a beautiful 9 month old

I had one at my 8 week ultrasound with my first baby (now 20 months) and it was gone at my 20 week scan. Never bled so it must have absorbed. No issues.

I had it with two of my pregnancies and babies came out just fine! Don’t stress. My doc put me on bedrest but some just say to make sure you’re not lifting anything heavy or doing anything strenuous and they might put you on pelvic rest (no sex or orgasms).

I have one now. It was found at 7 weeks. Still waiting to resolve. The doctor said they usually resolve from 13-18th week. ( pelvic rest, no working out, no heavy lifting)

I had one with my first pregnancy. I didn’t have any bleeding they just noticed it at one of my ultrasounds. Didn’t have to do anything special and it resolved on its own.

I had one with my second pregnancy, they told me I could be miscarrying due to pain I was in. Found it at 9 weeks, I had bleeding at 14 weeks but baby was fine. He's now 9 months old. 
Its fairly common to have a subchorionic hematoma, just ask your doctor if there's anything you need to do until it resolves. My doctor told me to continue what I was doing, no bed rest, no pelvic rest, ect. The only thing I couldn't do is lift anything over 25lbs until it resolved. But that was due to the location of mine. Everyone is different, so while typically its nothing to worry about I would just ask your doc if you need to be careful with anything!
