Does plan b delay your period?

I took plan b this past tuesday (7/20) and i was supposed to start my period this past friday (7/23). I am late, could this be because of the plan b?

Yes. It says all over the pamphlet that your period will be affected.

Please read pamphlet before taking medication. Plan B only works before ovulation occurs. It’s stops ovulation so intercourse does not result in a pregnancy. After ovulation it does not work, and after ovulation you can not get pregnant for the remainder of your cycle.

Did you read the pamphlet or look at the website before taking the pill? It’s really important you do this before taking any and all medication. 
Plan B delays ovulation. If ovulation is delayed, so is your period. If you had unprotected sex in your fertile window and already ovulated, Plan B has nothing to do.
