Panty liner has chemical smell?

Hi sorry I didn’t know where else to post this but I recently started wearing panty liners and whenever I change my liner it has a really bad odour. It’s not fishy or anything natural it smells more like a really fragranced diaper almost like a chemical. I got this panty liners for pretty cheap but their from a good brand so I don’t know if it’s a issue inside me or it’s the liner. I also don’t know if I should keep wearing them because the fragrance is mixing with my discharge is it normal for panty liners to smell like this ??
